Biography
Marianne Mills studied piano with Paula Pierpoint for 10 years before continuing her education at Hobe Sound Bible College under the instruction of Dr. Randall McElwain. She graduated from the college with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with an emphasis in Piano, and has been an independent piano teacher for almost 4 years. Towards the end of her musical studies, she married. Mrs. Mills has performed in piano concerts since childhood including State and National competitions for Piano Solo and Piano Duo as well as performance and participation in the National Federation Festivals and the TCMTA Music-Thons. After working as the Music, Piano, and Drama instructor at the Palm City Elementary Extended Day program, she has joined the Stuart School of Music as a piano teacher. Membership in the following organizations are in process: Music Teachers National Association, Florida State Music Teachers Association, Treasure Coast Music Teachers Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, Florida Federation of Music Clubs, and the Lake District Martin County Area Music Club.
