Biography
Heather has been playing acoustic and electric guitar and teaching children and adults privately for several years. She joined the Stuart School of Music family in September 2007, which has enabled her to initiate her "Guitar 4 Girls" program. This program, as the name suggests, was created specifically for girls, ages 8-up, offering them a learning environment that is not only educational, but very inspiring and extremely fun. Students are taught how to play rhythm and lead guitar, how to jam along with their favorite songs, and basic guitar maintenance. Guitar styles taught include rock, blues, alternative, pop, country and more. |
